The perfect recipe for a family affair
With the bride’s family traveling from Alabama and the groom’s from Pennsylvania, Elizabeth and Nick were surrounded with love at The Farm, Saturday July 28th. The morning started early for the wedding party as Elizabeth’s family put together a romantic country casual setting for the reception. With Gerber daises in a mason jar on top of a log slice chosen as the table centerpieces. The bride chose a color palette of navy, peacock, and coral to adorn The Farm tables, bridesmaid’s dresses and other decorations. The couple chose against having a traditional wedding cake and instead chose favorite family recipes of eight delectable cakes that were prepared by family members for guests to enjoy. As their favor, the guests were invited to take home the recipes for their favorite cakes. The live band which consisted of the bride’s immediate family played an array of music for the event which kept the party going and even Elizabeth’s great grandma joined in on the dancing and formed a conga line. Congratulations to you Mr. & Mrs. McLean! Have a wonderful time in Puerto Rico!
